Cookies

We use cookies to identify company users as unique individes. That helps us to register the number of users and gives us statistics and information about how many users we have. In some cases we also use cookies to save setting made by the user.

What is a cookie?
A cookie is a text-only string that gets entered into the memory of your browser by the website you are visiting. The browser in turn stores the cookie information on the hard drive so when the browser is closed and reopened at a later date the cookie information is still available.

Are Cookies a threat to my privacy?
No, cookies are no threat. A cookie is a textfile and can not contain a virus. The files are small and both Internet Explorer and Netscape have measures in place that limit the number of cookies that will be saved on your hard drive at one time. If you exceed the limit, the browser will discard your least-used cookies to make room for the new ones.
